This Australian romantic love poem was written in the Aussie vernacular and tends to give a unique loving insight into relationships. I enjoyed reading it but the friends who sent it to us did not know the name of the person who first wrote it.
If it was your work then we apologise for publishing it here without your permission but we did attempt to discover who you were. I know it has brought a lot of joy and laughs into peoples lives for which we really thank you. Please contact us and allow the honour of giving you full glory for writing this love poem.
An Australian romantic love poem
Of course I love ya Darling
your a bloody top notch bird
and when I say ur gorgeous
I mean every single word
So ya bum is on the big side
I don’t mind a bit of flab
it means that when I’m ready
theres something there to grab
So your belly isn’t flat no more
I tell ya, I don’t care
So long as when I cuddle ya
I can get my arms around there
No Sheila who’s your age
has nice round perky breasts
they just gave into gravity
but I know ya did ya best
I’m tellin ya the truth now
I never tell ya lies
I think its very sexy
That you have got dimples on ya thighs
I swear on me Nanna’s grave now
the moment that we met
I thought u was as good as
I was ever going to get.
No matter wot U look like
I’ll always love ya dear
Now shut up while the footys on
and get me another beer!
As we said at the beginning this is truly a romantic love poem written about a man’s love for his wife who may not be a teenager any longer with a slim and fit body but he is saying he still loves her because of who she is. Despite what advertising companies say it is not physical appearance that counts within a long term loving relationship but the way you relate to each other and the trust that has been built up.
However if you are an Aussie woman and want to get some “playful revenge” on the writer of this love poem to his wife then please send us your romantic (funny) love poem about the man in your life. We will gladly publish and give even more people a laugh. Lets face it we all need a good laugh and sense of humour nowadays don’t we?
Read what Vicki Wilson had to say in her “Romantic Love Poem” to this man. If you enjoyed this love poem you will definitely laugh out loud at her love poem.
